Quick answers
- How do I sign up? Fill in the form on the event page → you’ll be taken to secure Stripe Checkout to pay → you’ll get a confirmation email with your join link.
- Do I need a Google account to join? No. Just click the Google Meet link in your browser.
- Will the session be recorded? The first session will not be recorded. Future sessions may be; you’ll always be told in advance.
- Refunds/changes? See Refunds & Transfers below.
- Didn’t get the email? Check spam/promo, then see Email & Reminders.
Signing up & payments
The easy way to join
- Fill in the sign-up form on the event page.
- You’ll be taken to Stripe Checkout (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
- After payment, you’ll land on a confirmation page and receive a confirmation email.
Is Stripe safe?
Yes — Stripe is a leading, secure payments platform. Your card details are encrypted and never stored on this website.
Receipts & statements
You’ll receive a Stripe receipt by email. Your bank statement will show a charge from Kindfully You / Stripe.
Discount codes
If you have a code, you can add it on the Stripe Checkout page before paying.
Joining the live session (Google Meet)
- You do not need a Google account.
- On desktop/laptop: click the Meet link to join in your browser.
- On phone/tablet: you may be prompted to install the free Google Meet app.
- Please join 2–3 minutes early; you can keep your camera off if you prefer.
- For a calmer experience, wear headphones and silence notifications.
Timekeeping & late arrivals
To keep the space calm and focused, please:
- Arrive 5 minutes early. The room opens a few minutes before start time so you can settle, check your audio, and get comfortable.
- We begin promptly. If you join after we’ve started, you’ll be admitted at the first natural pause. If Ruth is hosting solo, admitting late arrivals may take a moment — thank you for your patience.
- Join quietly. If you’re late, please enter with mic muted (camera optional), silence notifications, and take a moment to settle.
- Missed the opening? You’re still welcome to stay, but you may miss the initial settling practice.
Email & reminders
After payment, you’ll get:
- Instant confirmation (your Meet link inside).
- 24-hour reminder before the session.
- 1-hour reminder on the day.
Didn’t receive it?
- Check Spam, Promotions, and Updates folders.
- Add [ruth@kindfullyyou.com] to your contacts.
- If still missing, email [ruth@kindfullyyou.com] and we’ll resend.
Refunds & transfers
I want this to feel kind and fair.
- Full refund up to 24 hours before the session.
- Within 24 hours: we’ll happily transfer your ticket to the next session.
- No-shows: not refundable, but we’ll do our best to offer a one-time credit at our discretion.
To request a refund/transfer, email [ruth@kindfullyyou.com] with your name and the email used at checkout.
Tech troubleshooting
Payment issues
- Card declined? Try another card or wallet (Apple Pay/Google Pay).
- 3-D Secure popup not loading? Disable blockers or try another browser/device.
- Still stuck? Email us and we’ll help.
Meet/audio/video
- Can’t hear? Check your device output and unmute in Meet.
- Echo/feedback? Use headphones.
- Poor connection? Move closer to your router or switch off your camera.
Accessibility & wellbeing
- You’re welcome to practise seated or lying down.
- Camera on or off — your choice.
- Take breaks, move gently, and adapt any practice to your needs.
- These sessions support wellbeing but are not medical or therapeutic treatment. If you’re experiencing significant mental health distress, please seek appropriate professional support.
Privacy, recordings & data
- First session: not recorded.
- Future sessions: if recording, you’ll be told in advance. You can keep your camera off and display name minimal.
- Replays (when applicable) are shared only with registered attendees and stored securely for a limited time.
- Your data (name/email) is used to manage your booking and send reminders. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Community guidelines
This is a kind, non-judgemental space. Please:
- Be respectful and supportive.
- Avoid advice-giving unless invited.
- Keep anything shared in the session confidential.
